BASEMENT REMODELING

Many people think that remodeling their basement is an expensive, time-consuming project that won’t increase the overall value of their home. The reality is that remodeling your basement can be a cost effective way to increase your home’s value while increasing its usability.
The steps for remodeling a finished basement are similar to remodeling other areas of a home, but building out an unfinished space requires a different approach. Regardless of your needs, No Limit has the experience to guide you through the process.
REPAIR
A solid foundation is the most important part of any construction project, and basements are no exception. Prior to remodeling, repair leaky pipes, cracked concrete or damaged drains to reduce the risk of costly repair work in the future.
PLAN
No Limit works with the client to develop a construction plan that incorporates their design vision, intended use goals, budget, timeline and existing space. Questions to consider are:
- What is the intended use of the new space (entertaining, office bedrooms, kitchen, storage, etc.?)
- Will the existing utilities create space restrictions?
- Does your design require new plumbing, HVAC, electrical etc.?
- Does your design require new ingress/egress points?
- Are there existing temperature controls (HVAC, insulation, heated floors, fireplace, etc.?)
- Do you intend to use the current lighting configuration?
